In a statement issued on Tuesday, Tanveer appealed to the business community to bring back their funds and reinvest them at home, stressing that such a move would help strengthen Pakistan’s national economy and support its long-term financial sustainability.

He emphasised that the country requires greater participation from its investors and business leaders to maintain economic stability and accelerate growth.

He urged investors to prioritise their home country over keeping capital abroad.

Tanveer also acknowledged the contributions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir, noting that both played a significant role over the past two years in stabilising and rebuilding Pakistan’s economy.

He highlighted Pakistan’s considerable investment potential, pointing to its strategic geographic location, abundant natural resources, and a growing, young workforce. According to Tanveer, channelling investments back into domestic sectors could stimulate economic activity and contribute to national development.

The FPCCI leader further encouraged members of the business community to actively explore viable investment projects within Pakistan and engage with relevant government authorities to identify the best opportunities.
