Abbottabad has emerged as one of the most sought-after property markets among overseas Pakistanis in North America, Europe, and the Gulf. The reasons are clear: a cool climate, strong infrastructure, proximity to Islamabad via the Hazara Motorway, and property prices that still offer genuine value compared to Islamabad or Lahore. Whether you are looking for a residential plot to build your family home or a land investment to hold for appreciation, Abbottabad delivers on both counts.

Can I Buy a Plot in Abbottabad Without Coming to Pakistan?
Yes — and thousands of NRPs do this every year. The process involves three key steps: Fard verification (ownership check via Patwari records), Power of Attorney (signed at your nearest Pakistani consulate), and registry completion by your authorised representative at Abbottabad's Sub-Registrar office. Payment must be made through official banking channels — SWIFT transfer or Roshan Digital Account — to satisfy SBP requirements.
Available through HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank, MCB, and others — the RDA allows you to send funds from your US/UK/UAE account directly into a Pakistani account, then use those funds for property purchase. No need to visit a branch. The entire account opening process is done online.
